Target countries

Jordan

The project focus was on a comprehensive analysis of the projects carried out so far in Jordan within the framework of the Environmental Technologies Export Initiative. The project results are a summary study, a handout with concrete recommendations for follow-up projects, and an updated country profile for Jordan. The country profile also describes new developments in circular economy. Data basis for the three products are documents and project reports, standardized quantitative surveys (online surveys), as well as semi-standardized qualitative interviews with key persons from different projects, from the target countries, and with program managers.

The project was divided into five work packages that build on each other. In addition to the project coordination (WP1), the interviews were prepared and conducted in WP2 and the data collection for the analysis was prepared. Scientific sources were consulted in order to critically evaluate the primary data. In WP3, the data obtained was evaluated and analysed. WP4 dealt with the summary and preparation of the data so that three products were created by the end of the project. In WP5, public relations work was carried out alongside the project and a workshop for SMEs in the water and waste water management sector was held.
