GreenTech Innovation Summit brings together environmental stakeholders in Chile

The AHK Chile brought together more than 100 representatives from business, politics and research at its first GreenTech Innovation Summit. The event focused on innovative solutions for the circular economy, recycling and decarbonisation, as well as on exchanging ideas and exploring new opportunities in the Chilean market.

On 25 August 2026, the AHK Chile hosted its first GreenTech Innovation Summit in Santiago. The event brought together more than 100 representatives from business, politics and research. The focus was on innovative technologies and solutions for environmental protection and sustainability, as well as on professional exchange and building new connections between German and Chilean stakeholders.

Exchange on Innovative Environmental Technologies

Key topics of the programme included the circular economy, recycling and decarbonisation. Eight expert presentations showcased concrete technologies, projects and solutions. In addition, four short company pitches gave other businesses the opportunity to present their solutions to the audience.

Networking and New Opportunities in the Chilean Market

The networking area provided an opportunity for personal discussions and the development of new business contacts. The summit thus created a platform for exchange between companies, public institutions and other relevant stakeholders, while providing impetus for future cooperation in the field of innovative environmental technologies.

The GreenTech Innovation Summit was organised as part of the GreenTech Hub Chile, a project funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN) under its Environmental Protection Export Initiative. The GreenTech Hub Chile supports exchange and cooperation between German and Chilean stakeholders and helps strengthen the networking of German environmental technologies and expertise in the Chilean market.
